Hey all, it turns out, I'm going to Alabama this coming week. I wish I could be back in the burg, too, to see all of you crazies, but I'm not, so I just wanted to say that I hope you all have a fun time seeing each other and I'll see most of you this summer, dude! how possible do you think it would be to plan a beach trip? anyway, just a thought, that would be totalyl fun, we coulsd do the whole, two dollar campsiite thing, and I'm sure, by now, you all have adopted to living on less that a home cooked cuisine, so food won't be too terribly expensive, anyway, we've got like a ton of snow out here and its relativly cold, see you all soon!

carol, I won't be in the burg over break, but guess what, hadley, my old roommate, her ex-boyfriend was a kid from germany named felix, wierd, huh? unless, of course, felix is to germany as adam is the the US, which, in that case, wouldn't be all that wierd at all, oh well! such is life! Kjersti? this is sara. good to hear from you. let me know if you're ever going to be anywhere close to germany, i live outside of heidelberg, i will be there until the end of july. Maybe if things work out i can come see you, who knows. I feel like we're so close, like, oh my god, we're on the same continent, or something, :)

hey hey hey hey hey hey!
it's me sara! this year has been passing quickly for me, but it feels like forever since i've seen you guys. so, things here are a hundred times busier than when i started out. I know a lot more pople now so that means a lot more things to do. I have a three hour a week cleaning job (on the side) for a family from Madrid (it's so funny, when i'm there we speak spanish and german all mixed up, so much fun, it was absolutely wonderful to hear spanish, lindsey, I miss Sr. Yutzy like you wouldn't believe, i wish he could come teach me german, he was a really good teacher) and I'm starting german lessons from a russian student down the street (she's getting her degree to teach german in russia). My real job......could be worse. Unfortunatly, german kids can handle a lot more liquor than me, am finding that out through a sucession of very painful hangovers.....live and learn. I'm already having to make plans for next year in school, and that is wierd for me. If any of you guys take a year off of school you'll know what i mean. It's a very strange feeling. I'm having a lot of fun, working hard, am pretty definitely sure that i want to live in europe, maybe forever, but need to see more of it before i make any decisions. And i need to study. a lot.

I would love to figure out a way to see you then, not that I have any idea of what I'will be up to next year.... uch! Why haven't somebody invented this machine that, the minute you're born, hurls out a note where it tells you what you're supposed to become, and how you're gone reach the destination?? It's absurd that you have to figure out everything on your own.... I think I will make that my mission in life, to invent the hurling machine.... :-)
What am I up to, you ask? Well don't freak out or something, but believe it or not, I'm still in high school.... taking all the subjects that I'd swore I'd never touch.... but I WILL SURVIVE!!
